РВ, РВЗ type high-voltage connector

   The connector is an electrical device, designed to create a visible gap in three-phase AC 50 Hz circuits of voltage 6 kV and 10 kV at absence of load current in the line.
   The connector allows activation and deactivation of no-load currents of transformers of own needs up to 1.0 A at 6 kV and 0.7 A at 10 kV.

   The operations "Connection" and "Disconnection" of the connector are made via the drive. Disconnector and the drive intended for installation in cabinets complete switchgear and CSR chambers.
   Types of climatic performances are: У3, УХЛ4 for the connector and У3 for the drive, according to ГОСТ 15150, thus:
- altitude - up to 1000 m;
- Environment not explosive, not containing dust, corrosive gas of chemical production at a concentrations destroying metals and insulation.
    The connector is equipped with drives in an amount determined by the presence of grounding knifes.
    The connector comprises three current conductors mounted on a frame with a common shaft and welded lever.
Conductor consists of two fixed contacts and a movable knife contact (main knifes). The lever, connected via drive rod (welded to the shaft at site, by consumer, at an angle providing the necessary driven connect) is used to connect or disconnect the main switch and hold the knives in the "on" or "off" position.
   Polymeric or porcelian insulators may be mounted into the connectors. РВЗ series connector differs of РВ series, by presence of grounding knifes, and depending of its disposition, has three performance versions: grounding knifes on hinge contacts side (version I), on jack contacts side (version II), on both sides (version III).
