КРУ-10Э(Ц) - type high voltage cabinet is a complex switchgear, designed for income and distribution of three-phase AC 50-60Hz current in mains with a neutral wire insulated or grounded through arc suppression (Peterson) coils.
КРУ-10Э(Ц) are applied in closed switchgears (РУ) and in electric installations with frequent switching operations.

КРУ-10Э(Ц) cabinets service terms - two-way. КРУ-10Э(Ц) cabinet switchgears are equipped with withdrawable elements with vacuum switches. At necessary of installation together with other switchgear cabinets, transitional cabinets can be fitted, for example, between КРУ-10Э(Ц) and КРУ2-10-20. Complete switchgear cabinets of  КРУ-10Э(Ц) series corresponds to the technical requirements.
The body of the cabinet is a prefabricated metal case, divided by metallic and insulating partitions into compartments: the withdrawable unit; linear bar; busbar; exhaust; low-voltage equipment cabinet, on which the box for mounting of low-voltage cables is provided.
Withdrawable unit compartment, busbar and connection compartment is connected to the exhaust compartment, which is covered on the top by the swivel lid with shutters, for ejection the overheated air and for dropping of excess pressure in the event of accidental short-circuit. Cabinets are equipped with a valve or photo thyristor arc protection. For comfortable service, switchgear bays modular and linear bar are covered with removable sheets. Linear bus compartment can be equipped with an additional means for warning about voltage presence.
