6-35 кВ Three-phase oil-immersed shunt reactors of РТМ type

Three-phased shunt reactors with natural air cooling РТМ are designed for parallel connection to AC 50-60 Hz mains with purpose of capacitive current compensation. The reactors are intended for long-time operation outdoors.
The rated value of climatic factors - as per ГОСТ 15150-69 and ГОСТ 15543-70 for accomodation category 1 and performance У and УХЛ.
Altitude, not more: 1000 m.

Operating temperature range: -40°C to +45°C.
Seismic overload by MSK-64 scale: 6 points.
Voltage class: 6-35 kV.

The reactor equipped by the following control & measurement instruments and furniture:
- gas relay, for visual check the ejected gas, and also for oil sampling;
- oil indicator for visual check the oil level in the expansion tank;
- safety valve for emergency discharge of high pressure inside out the tank;
- “ТКП” type thermometer, for oil temperature measurement;
- on request, by rollers for movement in longitudinal and transverse directions.

The windings connection scheme of the reactor is Yn.
The reactor consists of an active part, a cover and a welded rectangular tank. An extender with oil level indicator, a Buchholz relay and a HV, LV bushings are located on the reactors cover. The active part of the reactor consists of a core and windings. The reactors core consists of magnetic conductor and frame elements, providing mechanical strength of the whole active part. The frame construction provides the necessary molding of a windings and reliable fastening of insulation.
The magnetic conductor is rod type, having three rods and two end yokes collected from cold rolled electrical steel sheets. The rods are assembled from inserts composed of electrical steel sheets.
The electrical steel sheets are pressed by glass-fiber bandages and glued with an epoxy adhesive. Inserts are isolated of each other and of the end yokes by insulating mechanically robust pads.
The windings are reel continuous, made of aluminum wire, paper insulated. All insulation materials used in the reactor have a temperature class A (105°C) and above.
